In 1962, Cementia Holdings AG in collaboration with Tanganyika Development Company (now Tanzania Development Corporation) started to build the cement factory at Wazo Hill in Dar es Salaam.

Position: Cement Mills And Cranes Team Leader

- Lead and supervise a team of cement mill operators, crane operators, and maintenance.
- Manage the daily operations of cement mills and cranes, ensuring compliance with production schedules and quality standards, monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting and resolving any issues to minimize operational downtime.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for cement mills and cranes, conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities, and promptly address mechanical or electrical issues.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, and conduct safety inspections.
- Identify training needs and provide development opportunities for team members to improve team performance and encourage a continuous learning environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of operational activities, maintenance work, and safety inspections, prepare and submit regular reports on production output, equipment performance, and team performance.
- Supervise routine checking and maintenance of instruments and process control systems, and ensure execution of all shutdown jobs as scheduled.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual operational plan/budget for Cement Mills and raise the requirement for spare parts if needed
- Compliance with the HC Group Code of Business Conduct, Compliance Policies and Guidelines
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- ERB registration is an added advantage
